2015 Spring Picnic
The annual old-fashioned style Spring Picnic was held at the Liedertafel Hall at 116 Lux Road in Sealy, Texas.

On Friday night there were bands, dancing with a crawfish & shrimp boil. Beer & wine were also sold.  Jason Chapman and Jamie Wilson performed on Friday night.

On Saturday night there was more food, music and dancing with performances by the DURAWA Band.

During the day on Saturday we enjoyed performances by Great Promise for American Indians' group of Alabama Coushatte Indian dancers who performed traditional Native American Indian dances wearing authentic clothing.

Wawel, our favorite Polish folk dance group also performed along with Mariachi Espuestos De Mexico.

The Bluebonnet Master Gardeners held their annual plant sale on Saturday in conjunction with the Spring Picnic.

Games from Yesteryear were played throughout the day and included hoop & stick races and egg tosses.

Demonstrations of woodworking, spinning, forging iron, knife construction and many other skills from the past. Vendors were on hand all day Saturday selling handmade items, items grown on local farms and vintage and antique items.
Great food and drinks were served by the Sealy Area Historical Society.
