The Sealy Area Historical Society will hold the annual old-fashioned style Spring Picnic April 8 & 9, 2016 at the Liedertafel Hall at 116 Lux Road in Sealy, TX. Admission to the Spring Picnic is free.
A show and parade of antique cars and trucks will be held Saturday, April 9. A parade of all vehicles will take place at 11:30 AM on Saturday. The parade will travel from the Santa Fe Museum located at 211 East Main Street to the Liedertafel Hall located at 116 Lux Road (far West Main St.), which is approximately 10 blocks. All parade participants must be at the Santa Fe Museum by 10:30 AM.
Each registered parade participant will receive a "goodie" bag. Judges will select three places of Best in Show. There will also be a People’s Choice award. Prizes will include trophies and gift certificates for car services and products.
The 2016 Spring Picnic Car Show will be held at the Liedertafel. Show hours are from 12:00 Noon until 4 PM. Judging results will be announced at 5 PM. We ask all participants to remain at the show until 4 PM if possible.
The Sealy Area Historical Society will do everything we can to insure that vehicles are not damaged. However, the Sealy Area Historical Society cannot be responsible for damages to items entered into the Parade. Please obtain your own insurance if needed.
