The Sealy Area Historical Society will hold the annual old-fashioned style Spring Picnic April 11-13, 2014 on the grounds of the Santa Fe Museum located at Silliman and East Main in Sealy, Texas. Admission to the Spring Picnic is free.
A show and parade of antique cars, trucks, tractors and horse drawn wagons will be held Saturday, April 12. A parade of all vehicles will take place at Noon on Saturday. The parade will travel from the Liedertafel to the Santa Fe Museum located at 211 East Main. All parade participants must be at the Liedertafel by 11:30 AM.
NEW THIS YEAR: There will be an OPTIONAL $10 registration fee for each vehicle or wagon entered in the parade. Each registered parade participant will receive one of our Spring Picnic t-shirts and a "goodie" bag with a $10.00 registration fee. Click Spring Picnic t-shirt to see this great-looking shirt. If you do not want a t-shirt, there is no registration fee. There will be awards for: Best Car, Best Tractor, Best Horse Drawn, and Best Other Vehicle.
The Sealy Area Historical Society will do everything we can to insure that vehicles are not damaged. However, the Sealy Area Historical Society cannot be responsible for damages to items entered into the Parade. Please obtain your own insurance if needed.
The Parade will travel down Main Street in Sealy from the Liedertafel to the Santa Fe Museum, which is approximately 10 blocks.
